Carlos Gomez

Carlos is a trauma therapist who helps people work through painful life events to find healing. He works with people that feel broken and abused beyond repair.

Carlos finds joy in helping people “come back to life” and to live their fullest life. He believes we are on this earth to help one another, to be both teacher and student, and to make our stay for ourselves and others a better place.

He specializes in trauma relating to betrayal, PTSD and CPTSD in addition to also treating anxiety, depression, grief/loss, shame, pornography compulsion and feelings of worthlessness etc.

Carlos is a husband and father to three girls. He started his professional education in Northern Utah at Utah Valley University and concluded online at the University of Southern California. He is very personable and loves to get to know people. Trauma Treatment & Counseling is his practice which has been a great fit for mixing his love of people with his ability to heal. 

Karley Terry

Karley has accumulated over 20 years of billing experience in chiropractic, physical medicine, physical therapy, dermatology, and mental health settings gaining expertise in multiple practice management softwares and electronic billing platforms. Karley truly values fostering close relationships with each provider she serves.

Outside of work, she enjoys being a mom to her 4 children, attending their games and other extracurricular activities, along with spending time with her husband working around their home and yard, traveling, and finding new places to eat!

Jaycie Newman

Jaycie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Utah Tech University. As the Director of Human Resources and Marketing at Trauma Treatment & Counseling, she is dedicated to supporting a strong team culture through thoughtful recruitment, onboarding, and employee development. She ensures that team members feel connected, valued, and aligned with the company’s mission.

In her marketing role, Jaycie oversees strategy and outreach, working to effectively share the organization’s message and highlight the exceptional care provided by the clinical team. She also leads the interior design for all of the company’s office spaces, creating warm, welcoming environments that reflect the values of safety, healing, and comfort.

Outside of work, Jaycie enjoys golfing, playing volleyball, exploring interior design, spending time with her family, and seeking out new outdoor adventures.

Christy Fiscer

“The idea of therapy can be daunting. My goal is to provide a safe space for clients to experience the compassionate and judgement free care that can be provided while working to grow in life and interpersonal relationships. I specialize in working with clients to process trauma, attachment issues, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and faith transitions.

Trauma and attachment issues are often so intricately connected. I help clients to process their trauma, understand their attachments and work to change self-defeating cycles due to both. Trauma work can be accessed through traditional talk therapy, as well as the Brainspotting and other therapeutic modalities that I offer.

Growth and vulnerability can be difficult, but so incredibly rewarding. In therapy, you can walk through the difficulty side-by-side with a caring clinician who is invested in helping you achieve your goals.”

Stephanie Bangerter

With 19 years of front office experience in the dental field, she has gained skills to create seamless client experiences and ensure a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Her passion lies in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring every client feels at ease and well-informed.

Outside of the office, you will find her spending time with her wonderful family. She is a proud mother of four beautiful children and a wife. Always on the go, attending practices, games, events, and activities. These moments bring joy and balance to life.

In her free time, she likes to indulge in creative hobbies such as sewing, boating on the lake, and going camping. She creates an incredible balance of professional excellence with the joys of family and hobbies!

Alexa Manning

Alexa grew up in New Mexico and recently moved to St. George to go to school. She is a student working on her degree in Psychology in hopes to one day help individuals and families with addiction and mental health.

Outside the office, Alexa’s hobbies include shopping, designing, organizing, and watching movies. She is a sports enthusiast and loves the outdoors. She also values spending time with her family.
