Approaches That Truly Heal
Talk Therapy
A safe space to process your thoughts, emotions, and experiences with a compassionate provider. Whether you’re facing life stress, grief, trauma, or just need someone to talk to—this is a place for healing.
Play Therapy
Designed especially for children, play therapy uses toys, games, and creative expression to help kids explore their emotions, develop coping skills, and build confidence. All in a way that feels natural and fun.
CBT
CBT helps you understand how your thoughts influence your feelings and behaviors. Together, we’ll work on reframing negative patterns and building healthier, more empowering habits.
EMDR
EMDR is a highly effective trauma treatment that helps your brain process and release distressing memories. Using guided eye movements, your brain activates its natural healing process—reducing the emotional charge of traumatic experiences without having to talk through every detail.
Sand Tray
This hands-on, expressive approach allows clients—especially children and teens—to explore their inner world through symbolic play and storytelling using miniatures in a sand tray.
DBT
Ideal for those dealing with intense emotions, DBT combines mindfulness, emotion regulation, and healthy communication skills to help you build healthy coping skils.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is a focused treatment method that uses your visual field to access unprocessed trauma in the brain. Unlike EMDR, which uses bilateral eye movements, Brainspotting relies on stillness and sustained focus on a “brainspot” to help your body and nervous system release stored distress. It’s subtle, powerful, and often brings relief without the overwhelm.
IFS
IFS helps you understand and heal the different “parts” of yourself—like the anxious part, the angry part, or the one that always tries to keep things together. Instead of fighting with yourself, you’ll learn how to lead with compassion and build inner balance.
First Responders
You take care of others—we’re here to take care of you. We offer specialized, trauma-informed support for first responders navigating high-stress roles, burnout, and the weight of what they’ve seen on the job.

Trauma
We specialize in helping clients process single-incident, complex, and developmental trauma. Our team is trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, CPT, and other evidence-based modalities designed to treat the lasting effects of trauma on the nervous system and sense of self.
Anxiety & Chronic Stress
Many clients live in a persistent state of hypervigilance, worry, or emotional exhaustion. Whether your anxiety is trauma-related or not, we help you understand the source of your distress and work toward greater emotional regulation and relief.
Depression
Trauma can disconnect us from emotion, joy, and purpose. We work with clients experiencing depression, hopelessness, or emotional shutdown to safely reconnect with themselves and regain a sense of meaning.
Life & Identity Transitions
Leaving or reevaluating your faith, culture, or core identity can bring grief, fear, and confusion. We help clients explore these transitions with clinical support, honoring both the trauma and the values that remain.
Survivors of Abuse & Sexual Violence
Our clinicians offer specialized care for survivors of childhood abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and coercive control. We prioritize safety, empowerment, and trauma-informed interventions that allow clients to reclaim their narrative.
Relational & Attachment Trauma
If you struggle to feel safe in relationships, trust others, or set boundaries, you may be carrying unresolved attachment wounds. We help clients identify patterns rooted in early caregiving experiences and rebuild a secure internal sense of self.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use my health insurance to pay for counseling sessions?
This depends on your insurance provider and policy. You can check with your provider to see if counseling sessions are covered, how many sessions can be included if so, and if there are any other restrictions. We accept most major

How long do I need therapy for?
Depending on your needs, we can determine together how long would be most helpful and beneficial to you to reach your goals.
Do you prescribe medication?
We do not prescribe any medications as therapists and social workers. Medication is prescribed by Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. We are familiar with medications but are not able to give guidance or tell another practitioner what to prescribe to you. We work closely with a team of med providers and would be happy to provide recommendations as needed.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice of cancellation or you will need to pay for the appointment. An occasional exception may be made in the case of illness or emergency.

We recommend meeting with your therapist a few times to get a feel for one another. Most of the time, there is a strong positive connection with therapist and client. How long do appointments last?
Appointments are 53 minutes. This is the standard length of a counseling session. Sometimes they can run shorter or longer depending on what comes up in session.
